Frontend Developer – Vue.js.

Remote

Salary: £45K - £54K DOE

A forward-thinking public sector organisation is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join a newly formed digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield project alongside a Senior Developer, as well as contribute to the digital transformation of a key application that will help reshape the industry.

You will be responsible for the development of secure software solutions using modern frameworks and practices. Joining an agile environment, you will work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.

Skills:

Previous experience with any modern JavaScript framework, preference is VueJS

• Working knowledge of typescript

• Good CSS/style organisation

• Experience of webpack or similar task/build runner tools

• Responsive design, mobile first

• Developing on top of a Microservice architecture using REST services

• Writing Front End tests (using Jest and VueJs testing library or similar)

• Solid grounding in current UI/UX design patterns, practices and frameworks

Knowledge and experience of the following technologies is desirable:

• Experience of Cloud technologies

• Experience using a TDD approach

• Working knowledge of current CSS in JS solutions

• CI/CD experience

• .Net and Azure knowledge will be highly desirable.

This role will be predominantly remote; the successful applicant will need to be able to attend an in-person induction and occasional workshops held at their Newcastle Upon Tyne HQ.

Salary for this role is between £45K - £54K DOE
