£55,000 – £60,000 + benefits
The Opportunity
We are working with a highly regarded Private Equity firm with a growing presence in the North of England. This is a rare opportunity to join a professional, discreet, and ambitious investment house in a pivotal role at the centre of the business.
This is not a traditional admin role. You will act as the operational backbone of the firm, supporting partners and investment professionals while ensuring the business runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
Although the role is remote, candidates will be required for occasional in-person meetings and local coordination.
The Role
As Office Manager, you will own day-to-day operations and provide high-calibre support across the firm. You will be trusted to run things properly, anticipate needs, and quietly make problems disappear before they are noticed.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary operational contact for the firm
Supporting Partners and investment team with diary management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics
Managing relationships with external providers including accountants, legal advisors, IT support, and facilities partners
Overseeing onboarding for new hires and contractors
Coordinating investor meetings, offsites, and internal events
Handling confidential documentation with absolute discretion
Managing expenses, invoices, and basic budget tracking
Ensuring systems, processes, and workflows are efficient and professional
Acting as a trusted right hand to senior leadership
Who This Role Is For
This role will suit someone who is calm, highly organised, and commercially aware. You enjoy responsibility, take pride in running things properly, and are comfortable operating in a high-trust, low-ego environment.
You are likely to have:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Senior EA, Operations Manager, or similar
Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a professional services, finance, or investment environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication
High levels of discretion and emotional intelligence
Confidence working independently in a remote setup
A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for instructions
Private Equity experience is advantageous but not essential. Attitude, judgement, and professionalism matter most.
Why This Is Attractive
Genuinely senior Office Manager role with autonomy and trust
Remote working with flexibility
Exposure to a high-quality Private Equity environment
Competitive salary of £55,000 to £60,000
Long-term role with scope to grow alongside the firm
Calm, professional culture with high standards and low politics
If you are a highly capable Office Manager who enjoys being the engine behind a serious business, this is an outstanding opportunity.
