The role involves reviewing, editing, and supporting the development of high-quality content tailored to technical audiences, particularly within the energy and engineering sectors. • Build strong working relationships with subject matter experts and internal teams

  • Contribute to a collaborative editorial environment, ensuring high-quality outputs

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field

  • Professional experience in editing and copywriting - ideally freelance

  • Proven ability to work with and edit to a style guide

  • Experience within the engineering/energy sectors highly regarded but not essential

  • Ability to translate technical information into accessible content for a range of audiences

  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to transform rough drafts into polished content

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Skilled in assessing tone, voice, and consistency within written material

  • Strong organisational and planning abilities

  • Confident communicator, capable of delivering clear and constructive editorial feedback
