Salary: £65,000–£70,000 + benefits
A growing, well-established organisation is looking to appoint a Buyer to support its procurement and supply chain activities. This is a fully remote role offering autonomy, flexibility, and exposure to a broad range of suppliers and stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded Buyer who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with internal teams to ensure goods and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.
The Role
As Buyer, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activity across key spend categories. You will work closely with operations, finance, and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, competitive pricing, and strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day purchasing activity across assigned categories
Source, negotiate with, and onboard suppliers
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with internal controls
Monitor supplier performance, pricing, and delivery
Support contract reviews and renewals
Work with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and manage spend
Maintain accurate purchasing records, trackers, and reports
Support cost-saving and value-improvement initiatives
About You
Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Comfortable managing suppliers and internal stakeholders
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using purchasing systems and Excel
Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
Experience within FMCG, retail, manufacturing, professional services, or multi-supplier environments is advantageous but not essential.
